OpenWest is a community-driven conference that focuses on all things Open Source, Open Hardware and Open Standards.

This year one of our community members, Jeremy Curcio, submitted talks in the CMS category about concrete5!
In this tutorial Jeremy will present a brief history of Concrete5, explain the differences between Concrete5 and other popular CMSes, and provide real life examples of websites running on Concrete5. Jeremy will show you how to manage content such as Pages, Areas, Blocks, and Themes.
And
You are handed a list of specs for a client website, the only thing missing was the technology to build it on. In this session Jeremy will discuss the pros and cons of multiple popular Content Management Systems such as Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, and Concrete5. Following this session you'll be armed with better knowledge to make the right decision for whatever your project's needs may be.
