Concrete CMS, a local Portland web agency, won its first Summit Creative Award a silver in the Business to Business Web Site category. The 11-year-old competition is specially designed to celebrate the creative accomplishments of smaller advertising, public relations, and multimedia agencies around the world. Over 20 countries were represented through this year's submissions.
Kettle Foods was looking to breathe some excitement and sensation into their brand. Through Leopold/Ketel and Partners, Concrete CMS was hired to add some sparkle without losing any of the company's unique branding that the public had come to know and depend on. Built in Flash and using Concrete's own content management system, the result was a site that is easy to use, and attractive, with a natural feel.
"Between heavy duty features like version control and the design-centric production process, this was one of the most challenging sites we've worked on for a long time," says Franz Maruna, Director of Concrete CMS. Although pleased to win the award, Concrete CMS is already looking to the future. "We've got so many things going on right now. Between the web shop and Concrete the Studio, I can't help but think this award is just the beginning to what is bound to be an exciting year."
